I myself hailing from a farming family in a small village, I have particular fascination for any achiever in any field, if they hail from remote villages without even basic facilities for even basic education. On Pongal day - on 14th January, Dr Narayanan, hailing from a simple family in a remote village has achieved the distinction of assuming charge of the prestigious position as Chief of ISRO, the Pride of India.
