Vipassana is the method, with which Bhagwan Buddha attained Enlightenment. Aana Pana Sati is an important component of Vipassana.
Aana Paana Sati (Breath Mindful Meditation), the meditation based on observing the natural Breath - incoming-and-out going breath, has proved to be the simplest method of Meditation, resulting in immense immediate benefits.
